‘New Worlds’ exhibit at Atlanta Contemporary highlights Georgia women

by The 100 Companies

The Atlanta Contemporary is now presenting an exhibit showcasing works from five female artists on the rise from Georgia. The exhibit, titled “New Worlds,” is the 2023 iteration of the Atlanta Contemporary’s Georgia Women to Watch series.

Each piece in the exhibit was created in response to the question: “When women artists envision a different world, how does that look?” The pieces come together to create an exhibition that celebrates women, femininity and many other themes.

The five women whose works are displayed in the exhibit are Anila Quayyum Agha, Namwon Choi, Victoria Dugger, Shanequa Gay and Marianna Dixon Williams.
