Main Street in Clayton has a new business with the opening of Bridge Creek Inn, a 45-room boutique hotel. It’s part of the Indigo Road Hospitality Group that is expanding its portfolio of boutique hotels in the South. The property is a rebuild of the Old Clayton Inn that dated back to the 1940s. The second floor was rebuilt and a third story was added.
The hotel has a coffee shop and will soon have a full-service restaurant, The Vandiver, an American tavern-style restaurant.
A small mountain town in North Georgia, Clayton has beautiful mountain scenery and a thriving downtown.
