All 26 schools in the University System of Georgia reported increased enrollment this year, with a total of a record high of 364,725 students. That number reflects an increase of 20,000 students from 2023, when the enrollment was 344,000.
The biggest increase was at Georgia Tech, which has more than 53,000 students. It is now the largest school in Georgia, surpassing the enrollment at Georgia State University of 52,400.
Close to 60,000 students applied to Georgia Tech last year, with 8,250 receiving offers of admission. The University of Georgia had 43,090 applications, with 16,100 admitted. Its total enrollment is 43,146.
