Boulder, Colorado USA, July 25, 2024 – The Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) is pleased to announce the enhanced and redesigned Vendor Accreditation Program, aimed at further elevating standards and safety in the challenge course, aerial adventure park, canopy tour and zip line industry.

This program builds on ACCT’s commitment to excellence and its role as an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited standards developer.

The enhanced Vendor Accreditation Program reflects ACCT’s dedication to providing the highest level of professional development and credentialing for its members. The program will offer comprehensive training and certification, ensuring that accredited vendors meet the most rigorous industry standards.

Dozens of members and volunteers have been working on the redesign for several years to ensure an inclusive and comprehensive update to meet the needs of a worldwide industry.

The new program started July 25.

ACCT’s ongoing efforts to advance safety and quality in the industry are exemplified by this initiative. The Association invites all stakeholders to engage with the enhanced Vendor Accreditation Program and looks forward to the positive impact it will have on the industry. The benefits of the Association for Challenge Course Technology’s (ACCT) Vendor Accreditation Program include:

  1. Accredited Vendors don’t just meet high standards and follow best practices; they have to prove it to earn accreditation.
  2. Accreditation is earned, not bought.  Vendors must meet the standards to gain accreditation.  You can rest assured that ACCT Accredited Vendors do what is required.
  3. Accredited vendors comply with industry standards and regulations, reducing the risk of legal and compliance issues. They must do this year-round, not just during the Accreditation process. Anyone can say they follow the ACCT standard – ACCT Accredited Vendors have to prove it!
  4. Accredited vendors receive recognition for their vended services, demonstrating their compliance with industry standards and best practices.

The enhanced and redesigned Vendor Accreditation Program reflects ACCT’s commitment to excellence and safety in the industry, offering a range of benefits for vendors and the industry as a whole.
