Dealer’s Choice: serving on Emory board a rewarding, eye-opening experience

One of my most enjoyable community service roles was serving on the Honorary Board of Visitors at Emory University.

This three-year commitment provided me, an Atlanta native, some unique insights about the programs, facilities and impacts that Emory University offers to our city. The membership on the board rotates every year, and is comprised of “movers and shakers” across all imaginable sectors of society.

As an ambassador, I learned Emory is #4 nationally in student economic diversity, #5 in quality of life, top-ranked for happiest students, top producer of Fulbright winners and has 160,000+ alumni across the globe.
