If I had $7 million (and a private plane), I’d buy this 135+ acre private airfield located in Villa Rica. It is one of only 35 U.S. private fields with a Federal Aviation Administration-approved runway.
The runway is 4,500 feet long with enough land to extend it to accommodate jets – and to develop a “fly-in” community. It also has 41 sheds, six Quonset huts and one large private hangar. Private ownership means the airfield receives no FAA funding, subsidies and, more important, governmental red tape.
With Georgia’s planned growth, infrastructure investment and transportation leadership, this deal will fly.
