by The 100 Companies

Atlanta, get ready! Uber and Waymo are expanding their partnership to bring autonomous ride-hailing to Atlanta in early 2025.

Uber will manage and dispatch a fleet of Waymo’s fully autonomous, electric Jaguar I-PACE vehicles via its app. For select trips, riders requesting UberX, Uber Green and other options could be matched with a Waymo car. Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi expressed excitement about the expansion, building on successful autonomous rides in Phoenix. Waymo’s co-CEO Tekedra Mawakana highlighted the comfort and safety of the service as they continue to lead in the autonomous driving sector.
