I’ve been thankful to have a career spanning 35 years in commercial real estate, serving hundreds of clients, many of whom have become close friends.
One in particular is a doctor who was one of my first clients, whom I placed in a Buckhead office complex. Over the years, his practice thrived and evolved, and every five years we’d haggle with his landlord but negotiate excellent, below-market terms. Despite his angst with the landlord, which is typical with many tenants, we somehow won the battles.
This December he’ll vacate, due to his landlord’s stubbornness, but what a run it’s been.
