I’ve found that most people consider leadership as a position but fail to consider who they are being or how that impacts the people they lead. However, when leaders discover who they are being an d intentionally shape how they show up, they access transformational leadership and become more valuable for organizations.
Who you are being is constituted by what matters to you in any given situation and environment. What matters to you in any situation may not be something you are conscious to, or aware of, at any given moment and it’s mostly unexamined.
