• Coca-Cola – Atlanta pharmacist Dr. John S. Pemberton created the famous drink in 1886. Learn more at the World of Coca-Cola Museum.
• Vidalia onions – A farmer in Toombs County stumbled upon the sweet onion in 1931. The state vegetable is highlighted at the Vidalia Onion Museum.
• Fruitcake – Claxton is home to the fruitcake capital of the United States, where Claxton Fruit Cake and the Georgia Fruit Cake Co. are located. Combined, they produce over four million pounds of fruitcake annually.
