I really love going to vote in person and wear my “I Voted” sticker with pride. But this year, I will be out of state so it’s an absentee ballot for me.

It’s easy to check your voter registration, find out where to vote, who your elected officials are and request an absentee ballot. Just head to the GA My Voter Page. You can also find locations for early voting and request a sample ballot so that you can show up at the voting booth prepared.

The first day to request absentee ballots for the Nov. 5 election was Aug. 19.
