Lessons from BarbieLand

by The 100 Companies

I owned an original Barbie, a character focused on modeling until her career diversified, and I gifted my Barbie collection to my granddaughter and nieces in hopes that the ever-evolving icon would inspire them.

Patty Riddlebarger captured Barbie lessons:

Know who and what made you.

Find a way or make a way.

You gotta help her to help yourself.

You are more capable than you know. Don’t be afraid to go for it.

Don’t let anyone put you in a box.

Find your tribe and love them hard.

Even if you can’t make things perfect, you can make it better.
