MoveBuddha gathered searches from July 2023 to March 2024 for people with a planned move date at any time in 2024. The study found nearly 2.4 people are moving to Decatur for every person who leaves.
With approximately 25,000 residents, over 10 festivals yearly and four restaurants recommended to visit in the Michelin Guide, Decatur attracts people who are relocating with its big city vibes, small town charm, arts and culture celebrations and dining destinations.
