Authors and those aspiring to be published can learn more by attending 13 workshops on topics such as the mechanics of writing non-fiction books, writing memoirs and the pathway to publishing and book contracts at the Second Annual Writers Retreat at the Georgia Writers Museum in Eatonton, Georgia.
The conference, held Feb. 24-26, also includes a networking Happy Hour, active workshopping critique session and two keynote lunches with speeches by Alice Walker, and Bill and Carolyn Curry.
Cost for the full conference is $300; one day is $145. Or you can attend individual sessions for $45 or a keynote lunch for $20.
