I use the no Wi-Fi thing as an excuse not to work on a plane. Well, my excuse is gone when I’m flying with Delta, which announced the launch of fast, free Wi-Fi on most of its domestic planes beginning Feb. 1.
Delta has partnered with T-Mobile to offer the service, which it plans to have on all international and regional aircraft as well by the end of 2024.
It’s the first major U.S. airline to offer the service. You have to be a SkyMiles member but can join for free prior to taking off. Rumors are American will be next.
