Tulane win symbolizes the resilience of NOLA, once again

Roll Green Wave! Tulane’s upset victory in the Cotton Bowl over Southern Cal (a much larger school), was similar to the underdog win by TCU over daunting Michigan.

As a Tulane alumni, I am proud of our win and even happier about how it symbolizes the city of New Orleans. Following Katrina and countless other storms that battered this coastal city, the people proved resilient against the odds of recovery and now the Big Easy has prospered and thrived once again.

Tulane University showed that despite my attendance there, it too could come back from the storm and become stronger.
