Real Estate 101: shorter can be better

by The 100 Companies

As a previous story relayed, time kills all deals. While you don’t want to come across as too aggressive, I urge you to take action to move the process along whenever you are negotiating to buy or sell real estate.

Short periods for your due diligence inspection and the closing of the transaction improve the odds that the deal will go through.

There are many things that can derail the best intentions of a smooth sale, including environmental scares, lender red tape, title issues, estate probates, corporate restructurings, competitive offers “parachuting in” and, of course, interest rate hikes and inflation.
