Wild Rumpus Halloween parade descends on downtown Athens

by The 100 Companies

The 14th annual Wild Rumpus Parade & Spectacle returns to shut down the streets of Athens this Halloween weekend.

The main parade kicks off at 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29 at the intersection of Hancock and Pulaski streets and winds through downtown – cumulating in a massive dance party in the street featuring a light show and aerialists until 11 p.m.

Visit the 2022 interactive event map for details. Open container wristbands are available for $5 to drink outside within barricaded festival zones.

The event’s online auction benefited the Georgia River Network and their mission to protect and clean Georgia waterways.
