Apparel retailer Duluth Trading Company announced it will build a distribution and fulfillment center in Adairsville in Bartow County, representing a $53 million investment.
The facility, the first of its kind for the Wisconsin-based company, will be automated with state-of-the-art robotics and create more than 300 jobs. It is expected to be operational in 2023 and should significantly cut delivery time for the Southeast region.
The company makes apparel, accessories and gear for men and women, including its popular Fire Hose Pants and Buck Naked underwear. Its sales for the fiscal year that ended Jan. 31, 2021 were $698.6 million.
