Here’s news to sink your teeth into: Black Restaurant Week – Atlanta will return for the fifth year Aug. 5 through Aug. 14, celebrating African-American, African and Caribbean influences in the Atlanta culinary industry and educating consumers on the abundance of cultural cuisines.
With less than 20% of U.S. employer businesses being minority-owned, the survival of Black-owned culinary businesses is in jeopardy. Black Restaurant Week – Atlanta encourages locals and visitors to show support by dining at participating restaurants, including Aunty Betty’s Halal Soul Food, Fin & Feathers and Highland Bistro.
