Median home prices were up in June 2022 in Georgia. The average price increased 16.1% compared to June 2021, which had a median price of $378,900.
However the number of homes sold decreased over the past year, from 16,434 in June 2021 to 14,222 in June 2022. There were 37,819 homes for sale in Georgia in June 2022.
These metro areas had the fastest growing increase in sales price over the past year:
• Dublin: 79.5%
• Perry: 51.4%
• Sharpsburg: 48.8%
• Rockmart: 47.6%
• Hoschton: 46.5%
In the first quarter of 2022, the median home price in the U.S. was $361,500.
