Don your kilt and test your prowess at the Scottish hammer throw or open stone put at the 44th Annual Savannah Scottish Games May 7 at Bethesda Academy. Or just enjoy being a spectator at events like sheep herding, Highland dancing, piping and drumming and reenactments of medieval activities like juggling and armored combat.
The Games also include children’s activities like tug of war and haggis hurl. There’s also a marketplace with Scottish goods, food and a genealogy tent where you can explore your Scottish ancestry.
If you know your clan, visit your Clan Booth to learn more about it.
