Sure, large companies may have the name recognition and, perhaps, even stadiums named after them. But there are several benefits to working with a small company:
1. You have fewer bosses and usually have direct access to the top. The CEO will know who you are and you may even directly report to him or her rather than have layers of management between you.
2. You can learn different aspects of the business, learn new skills and perhaps switch roles if you see one that suits you better.
3. You can suggest and implement change much easier without several layers of bureaucracy.
