Thinking of writing, publishing a book? Here’s everything you need to know.

You’ve got a great idea for a book, or perhaps have already written one. Learn what you need to get published at the inaugural Writers Retreat hosted by the Georgia Writers Museum in Eatonton.

The retreat is Feb. 25 to Feb. 27 and will feature workshops with more than 14 editors, literary agents and authors. These include “Writing and Pitching Your First Book,” “Finding and Working with a Literary Agent,” “Writing Poetry” and “Writing Crime, Mystery, Thriller and Suspense.”

You can register for the entire weekend, a day or individual 90-minute workshops. Suggested lodging is The Lodge on Lake Oconee.
