We love our fresh produce in the South. Partially in response to an increased demand in our region, Bowery Farming is opening an indoor vertical farm in Locust Grove.
Their farmers don’t have to worry about the weather – their crops are grown entirely indoors and powered 100% by renewable resources.
The largest vertical farming company in the country, Bowery Farming was founded in New York City in 2015. If you’ve bought herbs or leafy greens in the grocery store or online, chances are good they grew it. The company provides greens to more than 800 grocery stores and online retailers.
