Georgia receiving $12 billion in infrastructure bill allocations

by The 100 Companies

Georgia is projected to be among the top 10 states to receive money from the federal government’s $1.2 trillion Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. As much as $12.34 billion could be headed to the Peach State, creating new opportunities for government contractors.

“This historic act creates a next generation of growth not seen since the New Deal,” said Dr. Nazeera Dawood, co-founder and CEO of Vendorship, which helps businesses identify and secure government contracts.

“Opportunities for government contractors in Georgia are already opening in January 2022. In fact, Vendorship has already helped clients secure two technology contracts due to the act.”
